Embroidering Emotions: A Gestalt Art Therapy Perspective
This workshop introduces embroidery as an accessible, experiential creative practice that supports emotional processing, resilience, and self-regulation. Participants will learn beginner-friendly embroidery techniques while engaging in a reflective, supportive environment that integrates body awareness, creativity, and emotional exploration.
Through guided embroidery experiences, participants will explore how working with thread, fabric, and simple tools can strengthen inner resources and assist in working with unresolved emotional experiences. The learning is practical and experiential, allowing participants to later adapt this approach within therapeutic, counselling, and community contexts. Participation in this workshop contributes to Professional Development (PD) hours.
