PAINTING COMPETITION

GESTALT ART THERAPY

GRAFFACRIL

Graffiti in Acrylics and other materials that are different from any spray.

THREE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE AN AUSTRALIAN BOOMERANG!!!

You only have to do an acrylic painting, a graphic, a name, a symbol that you feel represents an idea, a specific style or color in GRAFFITI form.

The painting has to be made by you alone and when finished you can make a foto and send us a copy in jpg format to our email: Gestaltarttherapycentre@gmail.com with your name, age and nationality so we can identify it in our data.

Who will judge your painting?

We shall invite the world known graffiti artists to evaluate your work.

What is the time-line to submit the work?

The deadline to submit your graffiti is until the 30 of November, 2010

Results and awards will be announced publicly in December, 2010

BASIC RULES OF THE COMPETITION:

Every one can participate regardless of age or gender.

Every participant can send ONLY ONE painting in jpg only.

The painting sent to us must be the ownership of the sender secretosdelabuenasuerte.blogspot.com , arteterapiagestalt.blogspot.com (Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak) are not responsible of any inconvenience that may arise in terms of copyrights.

THE PAINTING MUST BE DONE IN ACRYLIC PAINTS, OR OTHER DIFFERENT MEDIA.

Gestalt Art therapy supports the artistic expression of the graffiti format or style that is considered legal (it is not allowed to submit photos from paintings on walls or trains etc.) WE ENCOURAGE FULL RESPECT OF OUR ENVIRONMENT AND THE HEALTH OF THE PARTICIPANTS. There is reserach available indicating that spray paints are toxic to the human and the environment.

Owners Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak. The winners will be announced by putting their work on the blog and the rest will also be available on the blog for inspection and made as examples of art therapy and property of the Gestalt Art Therapy Centre (Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak).

Participants that were not selected for the award will not receive any recompense nor money. The three winner will be informed by email.

The only award for the winners will be an Australian Boomerang and received by mail in seven days from the announcement.

The winners must send their postal address and will be responsible for the postage and handling costs.

The rules above are accepted by all participants without prejudice.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COMPETITION IS PROMOTING THE ART AS A MEANS OF EXPRESSION AND REPORT THAT MAY BE BENEFICIAL GRAFFITI AS A TOOL TO WORK IN THE THERAPEUTIC SESSIONS

And enter in the competition CAT! Yaro Starak and Gemma Garcia, after receiving all the pictures, abiding by the terms and conditions of the contest will choose one winner among all the contestants.

The winner will receive a "T-shirt of Spain "

General Conditions of Contest:

Everyone can participate regardless of age.

Each participant may only send one single drawing.

The drawing submitted must be owned by the sender, otherwise gestaltarttherapycentre.blogspot.com is not responsible for the inconveniences this may cause.

All drawings that are sent become the sole property of gestaltarttherapycentre@gmail.com including the winner, and may be used for the purposes as the Directors may think fit for the blog.

All drawings received that meet the standards indicated in this blog will be published.

Participants that are not winners will not receive any compensation.

The winner will not receive any cash prize, the only prize being a T-shirt from Spain.

The mailing of the prize will be made within seven days from the end of the contest.

Shipping costs born by the winner.

The winner must specify a postal address where to send the prize.

All persons participating in this contest automatically accept these conditions.

Yaro Starak

He graduated in Psychology from the University of Manitoba and in Social Work from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He continued his doctoral studies at the University of Toronto, specializing in group psychotherapy and Adult Education. He trained in Gestalt Therapy with Jorge Rosner at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and after graduation, he was a faculty member for four years. He worked as a professor at the University of Queensland, Australia and is the founder of the Gestalt Center in Brisbane and Terrigal near Sydney in this country. Yaro conducts gestalt training workshops in Spain, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, and Canada. He also gives workshops for groups of men using indigenous rituals. Yaro is Gestalt Art Therapist CAT®. Co-Director of the Gestalt ART Therapy center (Australia). Co-Director of the Arteterapia Gestalt (Gestalt Art Therapy training in the Spanish language)

Gemma Garcia
