The Rorschach test is a psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation.

Some psychologists use this test to examine a person's personality characteristics and emotional functioning.

It has been employed to detect underlying thought disorder, especially in cases where patients are reluctant to describe their thinking processes openly.

There is substantial research indicating the utility of the measure for a few scores. Several scores correlate well with general intelligence

The test is named after its creator, Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach.

This one-day event will enable you to learn how to create a "Rorschach style figure" and use the test creatively in a Gestalt approach, that means that the way of work with this kind of Test will be different from the traditional psychoanalysis.

Also, we will create an extensive range of abstracts Figures, using interesting materials.

You will learn how to present in your professional practice this amazing tool, working with clients in therapy sessions.

Families, kids, couples and even Corporations, will benefit from this therapeutic method.

This interesting TEST- Tool will be presented and used in a contemporary Gestalt approach.

The "traditional Rorschach test" is a psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation, complex algorithms, or both.

Some psychologists use this test to examine a person's personality characteristics and emotional functioning. It has been employed to detect underlying thought disorder, especially in cases where patients are reluctant to describe their thinking processes openly.

The test is named after its creator, Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. In the 1960s, the Rorschach was the most widely used projective test.

In a Gestalt approach, the test will be used like a projection and be supporting the client's "awareness"

We will not follow the traditional interpretations.

During this workshop you will learn:

How to create Rorschach cards
How to develop Mixed media techniques building cards in a Rorschach style
Starting the process of using the Rorschach cards with clients
Applying the SICAIDIR method using the cards
Working with the projections of the clients

This will be an interesting and creative workshop

Yaro Starak

He graduated in Psychology from the University of Manitoba and in Social Work from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He continued his doctoral studies at the University of Toronto, specializing in group psychotherapy and Adult Education. He trained in Gestalt Therapy with Jorge Rosner at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and after graduation, he was a faculty member for four years. He worked as a professor at the University of Queensland, Australia and is the founder of the Gestalt Center in Brisbane and Terrigal near Sydney in this country. Yaro conducts gestalt training workshops in Spain, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, and Canada. He also gives workshops for groups of men using indigenous rituals. Yaro is Gestalt Art Therapist CAT®.
