ADVANCED MEN'S GROUP
LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
Because of demands on the trainer there can only be two opportunities to attend this
program in 2011. Expressions of interest are now invited from men who wish
to be involved in the ADVANCED MEN LEADERSHIP
Training starting 26th & 27th OF MARCH and 9th & 10th of APRIL 2011.
(Spaces are limited to 14 and each time it’s run it sells out. Places are secured on a first come basis)
This training is rare because it deals specifically with male group dynamics, in particular
with how to lead and facilitate men. The training is by Yaro Starak, an experienced
professional trainer in group work with an international reputation, and a focus that’s
experiential rather than academic.
The training has gathered energy and reputation each time it’s been run and not only
includes solid instruction on group process skills plus a comprehensive book (just
published). It also contains fertile aspects of ritual and male initiation processes. This
has been a great opportunity and resulting in a training that has grown to become a
place of self discovery, learning and mentioning.
The selection criteria for those wishing to be trained in ADVANCED men’s group
leadership:
1 A passion and valuing attitude to working with men in groups.
2 An open attitude to learn from an elder.
3 Ability to receive feedback from peers openly.
4 A willingness to participate as a learner and group leader with skills more than just
a facilitator.
5 To have a commitment to your own growth and self awareness.
